ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø-Austin research seed fund
ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø (UoM) and The University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) are collaborating on a new research seed fund initiative to support international research collaboration between the two institutions, to support world-leading research and to leverage international research funding in the future.
The purpose of the fund is to initiate or develop new research partnerships. Funds will be awarded to projects which encourage the building of networks of researchers and have clearly defined plans for future funding.
Both institutions are powerhouses of innovative research and contribute a great deal to their regional economies – through commercialising start-ups and spinouts and wider business support. Combining their expertise can only lead to significant economic and educational benefits for both places.
Andy Burnham / Mayor of Greater ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø
