ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø the Undergraduate Access Scholarship - ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Access Programme Graduates

Our Undergraduate Access Scholarships supports students who've successfully completed our ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Access Programme and progressed to study at ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø. The award is funded by our alumni community and donors.

Scheme eligibility

Essential criteria are conditions you must meet to be considered for this scheme. Students who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this award.

To be eligible, you must meet the following:

  • You must have completed the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Access Programme;
  • You must be studying your first undergraduate course at the University of ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø.

Please note that if you are have completed the ÃÛÌÒÊÓƵ¹ÙÍø Access Programme AND are an independent student (as verified by the independent student team), you will receive a £2,600 award from the Undergraduate Access Scholarship.

Application and selection process

How to apply

The University will do an automatic assessment of your eligibility for the MAP Undergraduate Access Scholarship in the first 6-8 weeks of semester 1 and we will email you in November if you will receive this award. You do not need to apply or provide any further information to us. If you are a continuing student, you will be contacted in November to confirm your next instalment of the scholarship.

If you are not contacted by December and think you are eligible for the scholarship, please email us.

Terms and conditions

Engaging with donors

This scheme is generously supported by a donor. Successful applicants will be expected to provide regular updates on their progress to the donor and meet with them as part of the terms and conditions of receiving the award.
